💧Overview

Lehigh River Classic is a mass start endurance race of around 40 minutes with mostly flat water and some class II. I would argue that this is the most laid back race in the Northeast Festival Circuit and that caters to a lot of friendly competition. This is the only race in the circuit I have seen dogs in the racing vessels!

If you are in the area or willing to travel this is a great event to meet new people. The after party was very comfortable with plenty of seating, food options, live music, beer pong tournament, and raft guide olympics.

⛺️ Where to stay

Lehigh Classic is part of the 3-Day Lehigh River Fest and in 2023 Whitewater Challengers hosted this event for the whole weekend and offered $15 camping that includes both Friday and Saturday night. It seemed there was plenty of room to camp. View their link to RiverFest 2023
